DESCRIPTION:Inland Empire Black Worker Center presents the Black August Revolutionary Film School. A 4-part series of screenings featuring films that deepen collective commitment to the study of Black liberation and abolition\, honor the legacy of Black revolutionary resistance\, and uplift the spirit of our Black Political Prisoners.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n        View this post on Instagram            \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAugust 7th: Judas and the Black Messiah\n\n\n\n\n\nAugust 14th: Long Distance Revolutionary: A Journey with Mumia Abu-Jamal\n\n\n\n\n\nAugust 21st: Free Angela and All Political Prisoners\n\n\n\n\n\nAugust 28th: Sing Sing\n\n\n\n\nDiscussions will be held after each film so that comrades may deepen their devotion to the political education and community organizing that Black August asks of us. \n\n\n\nEducational readings will also be shared with the community at the beginning of each film week to give our films and discussions context. \n\n\n\nDoors open at 7:00 PM and screening begins at 7:30 PM at Pain Sugar Gallery\, 3635 9th St\, Riverside\, CA 92501.  \n\n\n\nDonations to the space and @ieblackworkercenter are encouraged.
