The Inland Empire Labor Council is proud to sign on to the Cal/OSHA Staffing Solutions Position Statement. As worker advocates at the state level, we are incredibly proud to push and bring awareness to the proposed solutions by labor unions, worker centers, and UC Labor Centers. By not addressing the staffing shortage Cal/OSHA has compromised the safety of workers. We recognize that Cal/OSHA is vital to the inland region as law-breaking companies continue to see worker injuries as more profitable than providing a safe workplace.
