On Tuesday, September 24, the Inland Empire Labor Institute (the Labor Council’s nonprofit wing) held its quarterly Quality Green Jobs roundtable with the theme of Just Transition. The roundtable featured a panel with Celina Barron, Journey Level Inside Wire Electrician with IBEW Local 11; David Campbell, Secretary-Treasurer with United Steelworkers Local 675; and Eddie Torres, Policy Director with the Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice. Panelists and roundtable participants discussed how to build shared ground across labor and environmental and climate justice for a just economy in the IE.
