IELC Executive Secretary-Treasurer Ricardo Cisneros issued the following statement on the 2024 election results:
The IELC team and myself, want to thank all our affiliates who knocked, called, donated, and put in the work so we can continue to change the narrative of labor. Despite the election results, we will continue to grow our movement in the Inland Empire.
This election has taught us some lessons and exposed ugly truths about how much there is still left to do, this is the time to reflect and mobilize us. We are going to face challenges for the next four years, but when haven’t we faced challenges as the working class?
It’s time to get back to our roots. We must talk to our members about what Right to Work means to them as union members. We will do this so that If the Trump administration implements a National Right to Work law, our members can be prepared to push back and protect their rights as the working class. More than ever we need to organize — internally and externally.

El Secretario-Tesorero Ejecutivo del IELC, Ricardo Cisneros, publicó la siguiente declaración sobre los resultados de las elecciones de 2024:
El equipo del IELC y yo, queremos agradecer a todos nuestros afiliados que tocaron las puertas, llamaron, donaron, y se esforzaron para que podamos seguir cambiando la narrativa del movimiento laboral. A pesar de los resultados de las elecciones, seguiremos haciendo crecer nuestro movimiento en el Inland Empire.
Estas elecciones nos han enseñado algunas lecciones y han expuesto feas verdades sobre lo mucho que queda por hacer, este es el momento de reflexionar y movilizarnos. Vamos a enfrentar los retos de los próximos cuatro años, pero ¿cuándo no hemos enfrentado retos como la clase trabajadora?
Es hora de volver a nuestras raíces. Debemos hablar con nuestros afiliados sobre lo que significa para ellos el Derecho al Trabajo como miembros de un sindicato. Haremos esto para que si la administración Trump implementa una ley nacional de Derecho al Trabajo, nuestros miembros puedan estar preparados para contraatacar y proteger sus derechos como clase trabajadora. Más que nunca necesitamos organizarnos – interna y externamente.
La lucha comienza ahora.
