Dear Council Affiliates, Partners, and Allies,

We invite you to stand in solidarity with our Federal workers at two upcoming actions:

📍 April 5Palm Springs International Airport 3400 E. Tahquitz, Palm Springs, CA

🚘 Parking: Palm Springs City Hall – 3200 E. Tahquitz, Palm Springs, CA

📍 April 19Ontario International Airport – Between Terminal 2 and 4

🕙 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (both days)

On March 7th, the Department of Homeland Security stripped AFGE-represented TSA officers of their collective bargaining agreement. This affected 47,000 workers across the country. This blatant attack on workers’ rights is part of a broader anti-union agenda.

We urge all unions to turn out their bases and stand in solidarity. Our union siblings at AFGE demand injunctive relief to stop the administration from rescinding the existing contract, eliminating union representation, and stripping workers of their bargaining rights.

AFGE President Everett Kelley said the following:

“Tearing up a legally negotiated union contract is unconstitutional, retaliatory, and will make the TSA experience worse for American travelers.”

This administration has shown its true colors: anti-worker, anti-union, and anti-democracy.

Join us in taking a stand.

In Solidarity,
Ricardo Cisneros
Executive Secretary-Treasurer
Inland Empire Labor Council, AFL-CIO

Will your union be there?
