Dear Union Siblings,
At the start of this month, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revoked collective bargaining rights for 47,000 Transportation Security Officers (TSOs), stripping our union siblings at the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) of their voice on the job. In response, the Inland Empire Labor Council, AFL-CIO is organizing two critical actions alongside AFGE Local 1260 to demand the restoration of their rights to representation.
Last night, the attacks escalated. President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order gutting collective bargaining rights for federal workers across multiple agencies, including those responsible for national security, border protection, energy security, pandemic preparedness, cybersecurity, economic defense, and public safety. This is a full-scale assault on our labor rights, and we must fight back.

Higher Education Under Attack – Rally with UAW 4811
Cuts to heart disease, cancer, and pandemic research are threatening jobs and medical advancements. On Tuesday, April 8, patient advocates and labor unions are uniting for “Kill the Cuts,” a National Day of Action against Trump’s reckless slashes to NIH, NSF, and the Department of Education. These cuts endanger research, public health, and economic stability.

AFSCME 3299 & UPTE
📣 UPTE-CWA 9119 is holding a one-day ULP strike on April 1 against UC’s unfair labor practices. Like us, they have been affected by UC’s bad-faith bargaining, which has been preventing them from reaching a fair and just contract. We won’t stand by. We will be going on strike in solidarity with our union siblings!
