Republican Congressmember Ken Calvert has spent the last 28 years in office pitting working people against each other to protect his own financial interests. Now, he’s cutting vital services that put working-class families at serious risk.

Recently, Calvert voted for a budget bill that will:

• Eliminate 1.75 million construction jobs nationwide.
• Increase annual healthcare costs for people with job-based insurance by hundreds of dollars.
• Slash Medicaid and food assistance, hurting children and families.

All of this—just to give more tax breaks to billionaires.

The AFL-CIO and the Inland Empire Labor Council are rallying to bring union members, elected officials, and community allies together to hold Congressman Calvert accountable for betraying working people and being absent from his district.

This rally marks the first California stop of the AFL-CIO’s national “It’s Better in a Union: Fighting for Freedom, Fairness, and Security” Bus Tour.
