On Wednesday, August 13th, union members and allies came together to hold Ken Calvert accountable. The rally in Corona was the first stop in the California wing of the AFL-CIO’s “It’s Better in a Union: Freedom, Fairness and Security” national bus tour.
Like its name states, the goal of the “It’s Better in a Union” tour is to ensure that all workers have freedom, fairness, and security. We targeted Ken Calvert because he consistently stands against these essential rights for workers.
Unions and allied organizations came from across the Inland Empire to hear remarks from the lineup of speakers. They focused on the values of the tour, and the importance of holding Congressman Ken Calvert accountable for his betrayals of working people. See the speakers below:
