On October 25th, the IELC hosted a Leadership Walk for the Yes on Prop 50 campaign. This included individual dispatches from both Riverside and San Bernardino County, with labor canvassing different areas.

Canvassers heard from a variety of labor leaders and elected officials. Their remarks focused on the importance of canvassing for Prop 50 and the essential task canvassers were carrying out. Labor leaders and elected officials included:
- Ricardo Cisneros, Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Inland Empire Labor Council, AFL-CIO
- Doug Moore, Executive Director of United Domestic Workers, AFSCME 3930
- Senator Sabrina Cervantes, California Senate District 31
- Supervisor Jose Medina, District 1 of Riverside County
- From the office of Senator Eloise Reyes, Maha Rizvi, California Senate District 29
- Director Gracie Torres, Division 2 of the Western Municipal Water District
Canvassers enjoyed a cool day of canvassing, with many coming back to their respective launch sites for lunch and refreshments. We sincerely appreciate all of our canvassers, and are proud to have had your help in passing Prop 50.
