The Inland Empire Labor Council, AFL-CIO will join the National Shutdown this Friday, January 30, 2026.

We stand in solidarity with Minnesota and will be taking the streets with our siblings to demand justice for victims of ICE and an end to the illegal operations being conducted against our communities.

We know ICE has been targeting working class people in the Inland Empire, two days ago at least 16 people were taken just in Riverside. Everyday we witness people being taken from places like Ontario, Fontana, Corona, San Bernardino, Riverside, and the Coachella Valley. Nothing will change unless we stand up. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, ICE OUT!

The power of the working class comes from us taking collective action. Collective action is simple – join an action near you, NO WORK, NO SCHOOL, NO SHOPPING. This is an important time for our Labor movement to stand with conviction and demand that ICE leaves our communities for good.

We will specifically be joining a local action taking place at 3:00 PM at Riverside’s Historic Courthouse.
