Black August Revolutionary Film School | IEBWC

Inland Empire Black Worker Center presents the Black August Revolutionary Film School. A 4-part series of screenings featuring films that deepen collective commitment to the study of Black liberation and abolition, honor the legacy of Black revolutionary resistance, and uplift the spirit of our Black Political Prisoners.
- August 7th: Judas and the Black Messiah
- August 14th: Long Distance Revolutionary: A Journey with Mumia Abu-Jamal
- August 21st: Free Angela and All Political Prisoners
- August 28th: Sing Sing
Discussions will be held after each film so that comrades may deepen their devotion to the political education and community organizing that Black August asks of us.
Educational readings will also be shared with the community at the beginning of each film week to give our films and discussions context.
Doors open at 7:00 PM and screening begins at 7:30 PM at Pain Sugar Gallery, 3635 9th St, Riverside, CA 92501.
