About us: The Inland Empire Labor Council, is one of 23 Central Labor Councils (CLC) in California, nationally affiliated with the AFL-CIO. Our council is made up of over 90 affiliated unions and over 400,000 families in the region. We uniquely represent unions and their workers in both San Bernardino and Riverside counties, each who have had their own long history in labor, with the San Bernardino Central Labor Council chartered in 1887 and the Riverside Central Labor Council chartered in 1912. In 1977, the two councils merged, forming what is now known as the Inland Empire Labor Council.
